Kaitlyn L. Reed is an associate attorney at Woolford Myer, P.C. Kaitlyn assists the firm’s clients in construction litigation, commercial litigation, contract review, business disputes, and related transactional matters. She works with general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, owners, and other businesses in matters involving payment disputes, contract claims, change order disputes, mechanics’ liens, construction defects, project documentation, and business agreements.
Prior to joining Woolford Myer, Kaitlyn practiced in the areas of commercial litigation, business transactions, workers’ compensation, and general civil litigation. She has experience representing businesses, employers, insurers, and other clients in a variety of matters. Her experience includes drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, operating agreements, asset purchase agreements, and entity formation documents, as well as assisting with business asset and commercial real estate transactions. She has also drafted pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, litigation strategy memoranda, mediation summaries, and settlement documentation.
Kaitlyn also served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Leonard G. Brown, III, President Judge of the Lancaster County Court of Common Pleas. In that role, she conducted legal research, reviewed pleadings and evidentiary records, and drafted bench memoranda, proposed opinions, and legal analyses in civil and criminal matters.
Kaitlyn earned her Juris Doctor from the Thomas R. Kline School of Law of Duquesne University in 2024. During law school, she was a McGinley Public Service Law Fellow, Vice President of the International & Immigration Law Society, a Teaching Assistant for Coding for Lawyers, and a Student Ambassador. She also earned a Certificate of Higher Education in Common Law through the University of London International Programme. Kaitlyn received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, with a minor in Law & Society, from Lebanon Valley College, where she graduated magna cum laude.
Kaitlyn is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and is a member of the Lancaster Bar Association. Outside of her legal practice, Kaitlyn coaches youth volleyball with the Central Pennsylvania Volleyball Club.
